By The Numbers: Mateusz Gamrot vs. Ludovit Klein
Lightweights have been cast in supporting roles by the Ultimate Fighting Championship, as Mateusz Gamrot will take on Ludovit Klein in the UFC on ESPN 68 co-main event this Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. There, a spot in the Top 10 could conceivably be on the line.
Gamrot answers the call to arms on the strength of three victories in four outings. The former two-division Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki champion last saw action at UFC 305, where he wound up on the wrong side of a split decision against City Kickboxing mainstay Dan Hooker on Aug. 17. Klein, meanwhile, has pieced together a four-fight winning streak. The Spartakus Fight Gym export last strapped on the gloves in September, when he outpointed Roosevelt Roberts to a unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 243.
